My name is Ally Tenson, formally “Henson”, before I merged names, souls, and lives with my wife.

Calli Tenson, formally “Tystahl”, is the reason for most good things in my life, including but not limited to, giving me this space here to write…writing has always been a hidden interest of mine, and most likely will continue to be. But now I have a space I can be committed to getting my thoughts and words out of my mess of a brain.

Ever since our engagement in 2022, I’ve desired the chance to be heard. Heard by family members who refused to accept us, heard by church leaders who had conversations about instead of with us, and most importantly heard by people going through similar experiences alone. Maybe this is a step.

Even if it’s not, maybe this is an opportunity to find some answers and healing myself.
